Great way to get students excited about interactive quizzes!
Community Review for Kahoot!
My Take
I like that Kahoot! is accessible on multiple forms of technology, and is not limited to any one subject area. It does tend to freeze on the students, which can take the fun out using the application. At the end of each Quiz you are able to download the results, which is an easy way to gather grades. Kahoot! also has an "end quiz" button that allows you to stop the quiz at any point and time, so it doesn't force you to rush through the whole quiz if you run out of class time.
How I Use It
I use it for weekly quizzes, beginning of school introductions, classroom competitions, and STAAR review. For example, at Science/Math Night you can set up a game show area using Kahoot! plus a few Ipads, and provide prizes for the winners. The application has so many quizzes that have been shared by other users, so if you are having trouble creating your own, then it is easy to find one premade that will suit your needs.
