Great tool for students to create and share videos.
Students love using iMovie to create video projects. One downside is that it usually takes forever with the filming and typically need to be outside of the classroom (like in the hallway) since typically multiple groups will be filming at once. The app is pricey at $5, but I've noticed more and more students already have it on their personal devices which is great since the videos students film outside of class are always much better than those done in the hallway. The trailer template is also great because it includes a storyboard for students to fill out which helps prepare them before filming.

Excellent and easy to use for student creations
iMovie allows students to be creative at every level of Bloom's Taxonomy including creating, evaluating, analyzing, applying, understanding, and remembering. I would definitely use iMovie again! The students can share and publish finished iMovie projects as movies to your camera roll or as podcasts that are accessible on any number of platform via YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, or through iTunes.
