Personalized and Differentiated Vocabulary Development with Quizlet
Before they added Quizlet Live, Quizlet was good, but rather lame. After Quizlet Live, students ask to play, not only because it's fun and engaging, but it's also very effective with vocabulary development. Frankly, if it wasn't for Quizlet Live, I would have been seeking another more engaging tool. While there are some interesting features for teachers with the paid version, I have found the free tool to be sufficient for vocabulary development and review. Overall, I think it is an excellent tool and highly reccommend it, but it should not be used as a stand-alone. Quizlet is simple and easy to use. It helps me help students to help themselves. By having student create their own lists and study sets, I am able to meet them at their point of need and most importantly, help them drive their own learning.

I love Quizlet Live!
I plan to use Quizlet Live for every unit. Also, Quizlet Live will become part of my "Substitute Lesson Plan". If I have to be absent this year, I am glad to know that they can still be learning in my absence.

The best tool ever to get students to love studying vocabulary
This is one of the best tools for learning and reviewing content. I love how engaged students are when learning. They actually try to remember the terms, so they can win. Students love creating their own set of terms for the rest of the class to play Quizlet Live.

Great for Reviews/Studying
I think Quizlet is a great review tool and study guide for tests/quizzes, and I think the scatter portion is a great game for the kids to play that seems to get them engaged. I think an extra function that could be added is forcing students to use the terms in a sentence so that they develop a greater understanding of the terms meaning instead of just memorizing the definition by looking at it over and over.

Fantastic Filler or Review for Tests!
It's a great program because you already have researched and made the site lists for the teachers which saves us a ton of time. However, the downside is that, if you teach in a school such as mine, the students very rarely have access to computers or iPads. So, prior to using the programs, we need a class set of iPads or laptops or chromebooks.

Electronic flashcards with more diversity than paper ones.
This is a website that I have used for many years and encourage my students to use. I often have find students who do not like to make a normal flash card will use these cards. I have to prepare slides for the class sets by giving them specific cards to make which takes lots of time, but it is my hope that they will eventually create a better way of having students collaborate on a set.

Play vocab games and learn words - anywhere, any device
Overall, Quizlet is well worth the few minutes it takes to set up. It is easy to use and very intuitive for adults and students. With no other tool have my students retained their vocabulary words so well and for so long. I believe the gaming aspect encourages the long retention. In addition, Quizlet allows parents to help their children study and learn in a way that traditional study options do not.

"Let the Quizlet begin!"
Quizlet is a valuable teacher resource. It has the option to allow you to borrow cards from other teachers as well as share cards with others. You can add images to the cards you generate, create the cards in different languages, and add a voice recording. This allows the teacher to reach different types of learners—the motion, movements of creating and changing the cards, the visuals provided, and audio for those that need or want it. Students can own their education with this application. Quizlet is user friendly and adaptable for different age groups.

The value of "unloseable" flashcards can't be overestimated!
The tool is simple, but--esp. for students who struggle the most--the value of having cards that are "unloseable" cannot be overestimated! It's not particularly motivating for students, but I think it is a tool to share with them to practice their vocabulary work.
More games (especially ones that don't require correct spelling) would be welcome.
