Fantastic Filler or Review for Tests!
Community Review for Quizlet
My Take
It's a great program because you already have researched and made the site lists for the teachers which saves us a ton of time. However, the downside is that, if you teach in a school such as mine, the students very rarely have access to computers or iPads. So, prior to using the programs, we need a class set of iPads or laptops or chromebooks.
How I Use It
I use Quizlet on SmartBoard as a filler when we have extra time at the end of class; also, I use some of their program to develop a review for tests and quizzes. Then, in between classes, in the hallway, I will throw out Quizlet questions from my cell phone as students are walking to their next class. Sometimes, this becomes an issue because the kids beg me for more questions when it's time for me to make them go to class. However, I consider this to be a good problem to have!
