Class Dojo engages students in their own behavior.
This is a very useful tool to provide instant feedback of student behavior to students and parents. I like the fact that students took ownership of their behavior. They can easily make adjustments and get back on track within the class period. It would be nice if I was able to use the app on my device to show results on the website/projector. Maybe this is an option, but I haven't found a way to do this.

Fun and engaging behavior enhancement tool!
Class Dojo has completely turned my classroom behavior around! Students are working harder than they ever had to earn points, and it's making me as a teacher become more aware of the positive actions going on around my classroom. All in all, it makes the teachers and students work hard!

Easy to use and consistent behavior management program using positive and negative reinforcement.
My overall opinion of class dojo is that it is a consistent and very structured behavior management system to use in the classroom that is user friendly and can be used to a small or large extent depending on your time, purpose, and interest. One critical observation is the use the negative points especially in lower grades- this might want to be kept private and not awarded in front of peers. You can take students aside to show them their final points at the end of the day/week. It's always important to focus on the positives first. By recognizing the positives we take away the space for negative behaviors to occur.
This tool allows you to be consistent in your behavior management system as a teacher and allows the students to see their progress directly each day.

Class Dojo is a great management tool lending versatility for all educators!
Overall, Class Dojo is a great way to manage a classroom in a variety of ways. It lends great access for teachers to use and it's fairly simple to implement into a classroom according to the teachers individual style.
It's great to keep projected on a Promethean board during independent or small group instruction. Even if the teacher is away from the board, he/she can still interact with Dojo using a mobile device such as a phone, tablet, or laptop. I even continue to reward points in the hallway using a wireless device. The points still project on the board for students to see when they return to the classroom.
It's been very helpful keeping in contact with parents and making sure they are aware of their child's progress or most recent behaviors. The only issue I have experienced with Class Dojo is the websites reliability. Sometimes the server goes down and does not display my class for an extended period of time. The reason for this is due to the high amount of users on the system at once. This only reinforces the fact that Class Dojo is growing, and more and more educators are using it in their classroom.

Behavior management made fun and engaging!
I really enjoy using Class Dojo in my classroom. I like that it is all done with technology because that seems to really engage children and get them excited. I also really like that students will get immediate feedback on their behavior. This helps the children and my teaching! It allows children to be rewarded when they are displaying good behavior, and it allows children to immediately see if they need to make better choices. This program has really helped my teaching because it has improved my classroom management. I also really like that parents can log in and see how their child is doing in class. Children can see that what they do at school can also been "seen" by their parents. I also like being able to message parents directly or as a class. If not all parents decide to join then it makes it a little more difficult. Overall, I think this program is very effective with my first graders.

Facilitates Teacher Bullying, Intimidation & Public Shaming
See above. It is a DETERRENT to learning. Come on... this is the 21st century. We now know that threats and intimidation shut down the brain and a person capacity to learn. Please read The Neuroscience Behind Stress and Learning By Judy Willis, M.D. www.edutopia.org; Alfie Kohn's Punished by Rewards and take this product OFF THE MARKET.

You CAN'T say NO NO to ClassDoJo!
My overall opinion is that ClassDoJo is an absolute must have in a classroom with self contained special needs students and or young students in an elementary setting. I really like the parent report feature. You can also print reports for conferences with parents and briefly look at the day long summary for students at a glance if phone calls need to be made, which I LOVE! I think it serves my teaching better by keeping accurate behavior logs and records that are able to be reported to parents at a click of a mouse. I think that students enjoy it as well, as they get a full blown visual of how they are doing if projected or shown at several times during the day. Teachers can create activities that spin off of the behavior charts and create goals and other fun things to do. I really love this tool!

Engaging classroom management system that connects teachers, students, and parents in a fun way!
Class Dojo is an excellent way of both concretizing classroom management for both students and teachers and also making the process of teaching and learning fun and engaging. Class Dojo has an easy to use interface, and is highly customizable to meet the needs of individual teachers' classrooms.
One area I would like to see Class Dojo add features to is the customizable avatars. I think that there could be in-built rewards that could perhaps be reflected by avatar customization options.

Awesome Positive Motivator
I love it as an alternative to pulling clips or tickets for behavior management. I like that you can add your own categories of positive and negative behavior. I like that you can print behavior reports and sent text and/or email to parents immediately, so that they know how their child is behaving in class.

ClassDojo creates fun, positive classroom environment!
This is not an educational tool, but rather a helpful and fun behavioral tool. Students love using this site, especially when they get to choose their own "Dojo monsters". It makes it more personal, and through using Class Dojo, I have taught my students about setting goals and working hard to reach the goals.
