Class Dojo is an excellent tool for behavior management even in upper grades, and the interaction from my phone to the SMART Board is magic for the kids.
Class Dojo helps to keep classes focused during independent work time by allowing points to be earned or dropped based upon select criteria. A real-time ticker can be projected while you are working with groups and adding points from your phone; kids love that it seems so high tech.

Makes classroom discipline issues a non-entity
Classdojo allows me to track participation in class by using points awarded for behaviors I select. At the same time, I can track behavior separately. And at the end of the week, parents are sent a pie chart of their student's positives and negatives.

Great classroom management system that is easy to use - wish that I could export data.
ClassDojo is a great classroom management tool. It easily tracks student behaviors both positive and negative. I really like that I am able to customize the behaviors. It is easy to set up by copying and pasting a list of students into the app. I am able to provide feedback to my students on how they are meeting classroom expectations on a daily basis. There is an option to keep parents up to date with the data as well (although I am not currently using this feature). My only complaint is that currently you cannot export the data to a spreadsheet or document. It would be the perfect app if it had that feature. I tend to try and manipulate classroom data and am limited in doing so.

Good behavior management tool even for high school students!
It is great to use for attendance purposes but especially for behavior management. The students like to see how many points they get compared to their classmates.

Easy-to-use effective classroom management tool.
ClassDojo isn't an academic learning tool, but it is a fantastic social/emotional learning tool. After setting up a free classroom account (5-15 minutes, depending on how long it takes for you to type), educators are able to track students behavior and award points. Students receive one point for positive behaviors, such as being on task, showing respect, helping others, participating, or listening. They lose one point for negative behaviors, such as talking, being disrespectful, being off task, disrupting, or being out of their seat. Points can be awarded as often or as little as the teacher desires.
Each student can be given an access code to change their avatar and monitor their own behavior from home. Additionally, and what I think of as the true power of this tool, parents can be given an access code so that they can monitor their children's behavior throughout the day, any time they want. At the end of the week, parents who have signed up are given a weekly report showing strengths, weaknesses, and overall score.

Cute, fun way to teach student behavior.
This is a little babyish but all three of my 6th grade classes really like this website. I have kids who are mentally and academically on a kindergarten level and some very mature kids in my Honors class. They all got a huge kick out of creating their avatar and they like to log in to see how many points they have. If your parents aren't tech savvy or can't afford it, this website becomes less useful. The iPad app is awful, it almost never works and it difficult to award multiple students. I just use the website on my iPad.

Behavioural management in class
Nice and simple way to praise students within the class. Also has negative points to correct behaviour.
I like it how it my students were looking and identifying good behaviour. I have had many children come up to me and communicate their good behaviour. You can customise praise, children's' avatars and weekly reports of behaviour.
It's hard to police it all the time. It needs to be accessible at all time. I heard there is a iPad version that you could walk around the class with

Tract student behavior objectively and positively
No more masking tape on the arm to mark how many times a student is out of his seat. No more letting the "squeaky wheel get the grease." This simple app allows you to give a point by individuals groups, or whole class. Set your own standards, teach your routines, and mark points for every student who is doing it right. You can reward as you see fit. You can also have an immediate and objective record for parents who need to see clearly when and how often a behavior plan occurrs. Regular emails and good customer service by the company

Awesome useful tool for any classroom
I am a Core French Specialist so my 9 classes rotate in and out of my room every 30 minutes. It is visually appealing and the students love that they can personalize their own avatar and get daily, weekly and monthly updates on their progress in the classroom in terms of behaviour management. There is also an app for the smartphones and iPads so you can literally track from anywhere.
