Excellent

Honestly, this Book Creator is very easy to use even for me who is not very tech savvy. I have become more creative in class preparation and can also teach more interactively. Book Creator is also very supportive of student collaboration so that their asynchronous learning is very focused and effective.

Book Creator has helped my second graders see themselves as true authors with ideas to share with the world. It is EdTech that facilitates learning, rather than being an app used for the sake of integrating some technology. There is a large catalog of ideas and project inspirations that have motivated me to see how to use this tool in the coming year in ALL subject areas, not just literacy. With just a few mini-lessons on getting started and the features of the app, my students were up and rolling. They would share with each other the new techniques and features they found to take their books to the next level. They initiated writing activities with Book Creator outside of assigned work. They love the ability to collaborate on a book with a classmate. There is always a student or two each year who go down the "rabbit hole" of spending more time on the graphic design than the content of the book, but that is a classroom management issue to plan for, not a fault of the app. The only thing I wish this app could do is to export a multi-media form of student books to be saved in a place like a Google Drive. A book that is just images and texts can be saved as a PDF and archived, but if students add audio or video that can't easily be preserved. This will be my fourth year of using Book Creator in my classroom. Our school district's 1-1 technology initiative will reach K-2 this year, so each of my students will have a school issued device. This will make it even easier for me to integrate Book Creator into my teaching.

Overall, I believe that Book Creator is an all inclusive teaching tool for all grade levels. The functionality of this resource makes it easy for even the little learners to navigate and create meaning pieces of work. This resource has the ability to be used in all content areas and for many different purposes. For example, Book Creator can be used as typing practice, student journal, research, design, etc. Honestly, the only thing I did not like about Book Creator is that if you are not an ambassador, you are limited to the number of books that you can create. As a former "specials" teacher who sees the whole K-5 school, it was easy to run out of books fast and then I would have to get creative with combining classes. Overall, the pros tremendously out-way the cons.

I use book creator for many reasons Book creator is used for many reasons and has many advantages compared to other applications I consider it an integrated platform that allows the creation of custom e-books that can be shared with others. Offers a variety of designs. Recording or importing video files and then inserting them into the e-book under construction. The ability to draw using the pen tool provided by the application. Collaborate virtually with others. Import and export to Google Drive or others Interaction: Book Creator differs from many other tools in that the user can actually record their own voice with it, as well as insert the link to the videos in these fully interactive books. Kids can create it in no time and use it as a portfolio for their work.

Book Creator is a wonderful app that can be a game changer when a teacher wants to increase the involvement of her class. Students can not only consume contents that have been created for them by their teachers, but they can also play a more active role and become content creators on their own, both solo and in teams. I particularly like the extreme ease of use and the many things you can put inside your books, text, audio, and video with auto-generated captions and transcripts. Another aspect I like is that Book Creator is an inclusive app that can be used by people with learning difficulties. To sum up: a must-have!

I love this tool a lot. It has given me the power to author books. My students worked in collaboration with a partner to create their books: fiction, comics, comic strips etc. and then we printed them so that they could be presented in the school year-end exhibition. I loved the different features it has for adding texts, pen tool with a vast variety, awesome backgrounds, etc.

I have always loved the students' creativity and ability to use this tool's imagination. I would give them general guidelines, and they created fabulous stories. I liked the ability to use your pictures and online resources. Some of my students had dexterity issues, so drawing was not happening, or they did not have a lot of pictures. So, the online was fantastic. At first, it was challenging to learn to move items and get the hang of the text, but as a class, we figured it out and decided to make directions. Also, learning how to publish was tricky, but that was trial and error.

Book Creator is definitely at the top of my list. The accessibility and options make it perfect for every learner. This is a must have in any classroom.
