My Take
Book Creator is a wonderful app that can be a game changer when a teacher wants to increase the involvement of her class. Students can not only consume contents that have been created for them by their teachers, but they can also play a more active role and become content creators on their own, both solo and in teams.
I particularly like the extreme ease of use and the many things you can put inside your books, text, audio, and video with auto-generated captions and transcripts. Another aspect I like is that Book Creator is an inclusive app that can be used by people with learning difficulties. To sum up: a must-have!
How I Use It
It has infinite possibilities, ranging from creating picture collages, to whole comic books with engaging text effects, and marvellous backgrounds. You have the possibility to embed text, images, videos, you name it...
You can work solo or share your work with your colleagues and cooperate by collaboratively creating content that is used to make a book.
You can use a story-telling approach by creating your own comic about a subject of your liking or you can even write a book on how to solve math puzzles.
