Near resources for teaching Government/Civics!
This is great tool to reinforce content, perhaps a ticket out the door. At times, I've found the websites' organization and/or the content organization to be a bit confusing. It didn't alway match up naturally to Georgia's Standards.

Amazing way to make Government concepts fun for students!
Overall, iCivics is an amazing collection of games for use in the classroom. Students enjoy playing them, are actively engaged, and are actually learning! In the past year, EverFi (another online learning company) has purchased iCivics games and incorporated them into their Commons course. I like the easiness of the gameplay but some of the examples tied to the Constitution are easily answered. You may want to come up with tougher examples for classroom conversations to ensure the concepts were learned.

Great way for students to learn government structures!
I really enjoy the lesson plans offered on this website but I wish it gave more ideas for extended activities or differentiated instruction. This website is perfect for a springing board with any time of government or economic lesson you will be doing. At times, the lesson plans can be difficult to follow because there is so much information.
