My Take
It's definitely designed for younger students k-8 but certainly entertaining and educational although you might need to "explain" the physics to younger children.
How I Use It
This is a great resource for students to focus on physics! They learn vectors and force and motion without all the equations to get in the way. It's an application program for a low cost! You might be able to have a whole class discuss and complete the activity together by predicting what would happen. It has LOTS of levels so advanced learners can still enjoy.

Where's the Learning in Where's My Water?
While a claim can be made that perhaps this app helps bolster a student's problem solving capacity, there is no element of the app that allows such a claim to be substantiated. Don't get me wrong... this is a fun game. Certainly, there is a time and place for this. However, there are a variety of curriculum-aligned apps that allow for students to build, create and problem-solve within the content being studied. With so much to teach and such little time to teach it, this app doesn't contain enough "meat" related to content to make a significant enough impact on real learning.

Great for problem solving and sequencing!
High student engagement, rising levels of challenge, opportunities to retry and rethink encourage students to continue. The game could add a reference section that connected the liquids, solids and steams to scientific concepts for students.
