How I Use It
The website is chocked full of WWII advancements in science and technology that impacted the war then and continue to impact the world today. From nutrition and computers to atomic energy and RADAR, the site offers students the opportunity to explore and find authentic images of products, posters and advertising from the era. It works well for a web quest into the discoveries and new technologies of the day. It also offers students an interactive timeline, quizzes to test their knowledge, the ability to send coded messages and even the option of setting up a virtual field trip with a docent from the museum. The students benefit and enjoy the quality pictures and concise information.
