Community Review for Teen Ink
My Take
TeenInk is a wonderful place for budding writers to go to find like minds who also like to write. They can publish their work, get feedback on what they write--in the process learning how to give and take feedback themselves--and in general, accelerate their development as writers by spending time in an online space that also values the written word. They also have a wonderful printed magazine where "best work" gets published.
How I Use It
Whenever I have a budding writer who wants to spread her word wings, I direct her to Teen Ink, where she can find others like her who like to write and share their work with one another.

Great collaborative resource for older students!
I absolutely love how easy the resource is to use. I feel that besides just for school assignments, students who like to read books on their own could use the resource to be able to collaborate with others by sharing their opinions and reading those of others who have read the same book!

Connecting Teens to a Supportive Writing and Artistic Community
I love this site as a teaching tool. It has so many potential uses - as a forum for sharing student work, to allow students to post book reviews, to connect students with like minded teens across the globe, and to allow students to interact with contemporary authors. Teen Ink is one of my favorite teaching tools. It has stood the test of time with me and I am constantly uncovering new ways to share the site with the teens I have the pleasure of working with on a daily basis.

Great site for students to post reviews!
I love this site. It encourages students to be active readers and requires them to think about what they read in order to write their reviews. Students use this site to get recommendations of what to read next when they're in need of a good book!
