My Take
So much cooler than Wordle! This site has unlimited potential for exploration and creativity. The program is similar to Wordle in that it takes a text and turns the words into a picture. Taxedo takes it a step further and puts the words into shapes of your own choosing, including your own pictures or designs. We've made gifts for every occasion, summarized pieces of literature, and created logos for real and imaginary products.
How I Use It
We've used this site for lessons on word choice, making gifts, and for exploring functions (the methods of changing layout options are somewhat complicated and worth having children experiment with). This is a great writing tool for producing pieces to share and enjoy together, encouraging students to write for others.
