My Take
Simplicity is my favorite part of the sway app. Students control the images and then tell their story creating a timeline of an event or process. It would be great if the sway app would allow videos to be inserted. Students can open their accounts in Office 365 and add YouTube video to their sway.
How I Use It
The sway app can be used to quickly create a story complete with images and text. Students were allowed to take photographs and immediately use them to tell a story. Allowing them to flex their creative image skills along with their writing abilities.

A powerful, useless, interactive and flexible tool for storytelling and presentations
This is a tool that the teacher can use to present the lessons. Important elements are: the flexibility, easy integration of many different files, and the sharing. Also, it is very important that students themselves use this tool to benefit their learning because they become creators.

Sway looks like a very interesting and useful app for the classroom. As a frequent digital content consumer, I like the opportunities that this app provides. Students can create reports, stories, and presentations that can showcase their learning in a beautiful and visually appealing way. Even cooler than that is the amount of possibility in creation and the redefinition of assignments that Sway allows students to take advantage of.

Sway Into Presenting!
I have used this as a way to present information and for students to present. Overall it is a decent teaching tool. It does have some short comings. I really think it depends on what your purpose is for your presentation. If you want the students to really go in depth on a topic and add animations than PowerPoint would work better. However, if you are looking for a simplistic way to have students present information than Sway would work. Sway can be used for more complex presentations, but it lacks the editing skills that other presentation tools have. It is a great starting tool for students to use to learn how to present.
