My Take
I've used a number digital audio workstations (DAWs). Soundtrap isn't top of the pile for serious music creators, but it is simple to use in a classroom environment and is web-based so it's not tied to any device. What sets it apart is the video communication tools available to collaborate on projects.
How I Use It
If you're a music teacher, it's a great way to collaborate and make songs. It's great for students who struggle with writing to record their thoughts and speak their stories. I've also used it for podcasting connections with multiple classes where questions are posted by students and teachers. The video collaboration really helps with that.
