My Take

Positives:
easy to use even by primary aged children, contains an abundance of tools for children to use, uses safeguards for security of content, the simple version is free, the more advanced version (Seesaw for Schools) keeps adding to the tools and academic content, recent additions to Seesaw for Schools include SEL content along with STEM and English as a Second Language content.
Negatives:
Seesaw for Schools has priced itself out of the range of many schools

How I Use It

I have used Seesaw both as a tool for students to document their own learning and as a tool to give parents a window into the classroom. Students can easily add photos, voice recordings and videos to their portfolio. The teacher can easily do the same. Parents are able to immediately see all items as they are posted (and approved by the teacher).
