My Take
I would highly recommend this tool to EVERY teacher. It is so user friendly to teachers and students. It allows students so many ways to stay engaged and show their learning, which is especially helpful for struggling students. There is not anything I would change!
How I Use It
My students use this every day during distance learning! It is very kid friendly, students pick up the tools and structure quickly.
Some key features:
-Students post their work
-Students can record their explanations
-Students can type, draw, post pictures, and videos
-Teacher can post an assignment and record the directions in the instructions page. We can also post voice recordings on each page.
-Super organized! Teachers can make folders and put different skills in each folder so it is easy for us to go back and look at how students are progressing. Each assignment shows who completed it and who didn't which is a great way to do a quick check to see who is missing assignments.
-Provides some communication between the child and teacher. Teacher and students can send comments to one another. I use them for comments on things they did well and for things they need to fix. Some students use it as a way to chat and share with me!
-Parents are invited and they can comment and view their child's work
-You can make student posts public (to the whole class) or private
