My Take

The multiple times that the students and I attempted to use Quizizz, we were able to find or create quizzes within the application website. However, every single time that we tried to play it and have the kids enter their codes, the app showed the spinning circles and then said that we had a firewall blocking message. The problem is we were not using the school's firewall or wireless.
Does this only work on wireless? It can't work off of the student's or teacher's own data plan like Kahoot and others can?
My students literally got angry with me for trying to attempt to make it work multiple times.
I got angry with myself for wasting classtime trying to make it work.
In theory, it is a great product. In reality, it is inoperable. This is just the experience that we had during the 2015-2016 school year.

I wanted to use it to supplement Kahoot and unpack deeper thinking from my students or have them produce longer discourse. I wanted to do this but could not.
