My Take
I truly love Quia.com, I have used it for over ten years and it has never disappointed me. It continues to expand it's offering and the price (to me) is extremely reasonable. My students have done so well using it and always seem engaged with the different activities that it offers.
How I Use It
I used Quia in a variety of ways with my students; from whole class, small groups, learning centers, and independent practice. Using the IXL area for whole class is great, all I had to do was bring up the website with a projector and then we as a class would work through each of the problems together as a whole. The best thing about using the site was the explanation of the wrong answer, this was a great teaching and learning tool for the class. The quia web games were fantastic to use for centers and small groups, the students could work through the activities and then gain a better knowledge of the material they were covering.
