My Take
Nearpod is a fantastic tool. I've recently upgraded to the Gold edition, but the free version is extraordinarily useful as well. My only critique would be that creating slides on Nearpod, while simple, doesn't allow for much creativity - creating presentations with a "wow" factor is a must for all classrooms, especially high school.
How I Use It
Nearpod is an excellent tool for the 21st-century classroom. Teachers can create presentations on Nearpod or can upload PDFs/Power Points. I use Nearpod in my dual credit Social Studies classes, in which I typically lecture. Students can follow along with my presentation on their own screen, answer embedded questions, view websites, and more! Nearpod allows teachers to continue presentations, even if they are unable to use a projector. It's awesome!
