How I Use It

This is a great product if you are interested in blended learning, small station or module learning, but it also works great whole group. I used this product to do an introductory lesson on transformations. I included youtube videos, open ended response questions, a mini quiz, an internet link to a game, and a quick poll. The purpose was for students to be able to self-direct their learning, but to give me feedback so I knew if I needed to intervene during the lesson. I did hit a snag, but it was not the app it was our filter. Students were not able to watch the youtube video on their own screen. Fortunately, the app allows you to show the same slide on your computer and screen, so I showed the videos on my screen instead. It was the entire lesson, so it included modeled, shared, guided, and independent learning.
