My Take
I think this is a really cool app. The really nice features of this app are that it:
* Show you which students are in the session and if they drop out of it, you are alerted on your iPad.
* While the students are hooked into your session, you control what they see on their iPads.
* While in the session, the things the students write or choose for an answer is sent directly to your iPad, and you can see who sent the answer.
* You can create your own session based around your needs or download remade ones.
It is a very interactive app with a lot of fun features that will help keep your kids engaged.
**** The only downfall I have run into is that it took quite some time to get all my students involved and hooked into the session. I am unsure if it is the app or our internet though.
How I Use It
I have used this to check for understanding in my whole class setting. I set up a slideshow of sorts called a session, in this app where I asked the kids a question and they drew their answer then submitted it directly to my iPad. Students are given a code to type into the app which pulls them into the session and allows me as a teacher to control what they do see on their iPad.
