If your entire class has access to Apple products, this is a great teaching tool. It's great for presenting material, as it keeps students engaged and allows the teacher to work at their own pace. It's a great app for learners of all levels.
How I Use It
This product was used in an English Language Arts class that I co-taught. All students had access to an iPod, and this app was great because the teacher was in control of what the students see on their screens. The teacher used Near Pod to present a lesson, and the students could only follow along as fast as the teacher allowed. They couldn't go ahead and miss what the teacher was saying. At the end, students took a quiz on Near Pod and the teacher was able to check their understanding immediately.
