My Take
I like this tool because it gets students more involved with content that is being shared. A teacher can require that a student respond or interact using such a tool where merely using a presentation tool allows only those students who are called on to be able to interact. One aspect I do not like is that you can only have 50 participants logged in at once.
How I Use It
Nearpod is a great tool for creating multimedia presentations to be shared with students. You can create your own slides, used some of the generic templates, and even purchase some pre-made content. Teachers guide learners by sharing slides when appropriate. Students can interact with slides in many ways. What's also fab about this tool is that is truly device agnostic!
