My Take
I do not like this app because students tend to spend a lot of time setting up a problem in order to get an answer. You have to be very careful how you write the problem so you get the set up you want to get the answer you need. I believe it is a great concept but might need a little extra help to make it more effective.
How I Use It
If I used this product, it would be to provide students with an extra tool to check their work. It works if you write the problem specifically and exactly as you should. The problem is that it might misread what you want it to do and set up a problem that is nothing like what you want to answer. A simple addition problem could possibly produce a large equation with exponents and fractions.

Fun, easy-to-use calculator
I wouldn't necessarily call this a teaching tool. The kids like to use this calculator, so it kind of gets them excited in that regard.

Why use a program that needs keyboards for math symbols? Just write them!
I like this app as it takes guess work out of equations/numbers on paper. Screen caps allow students to submit answers to CMS'. Students like the magic of handwriting transforming to print before their eyes.
Very happy that e auto-calculate function can be turned off so students still have to solve the problem before checking their work.

Easy, interactive way for students to solve equations!
MyScript Calculator is a great interactive app that is an easy way to incorporate technology into the classroom. Students are able to use this app very easily because of the tutorial provided when first using the app. Students really enjoy using their fingers to write out equations and watch their handwritten equations turn into a digital form. However, this app is can only be used as a calculator. It does not enhance the students learning of how to solve different equations.
