My Take

MyOn was overall painless to introduce to the school and students, after the assessment test students are able to create their own personal library which cuts down on the numerous cries of "I can't find a book!" Book quizzes and benchmark assessments are provided throughout myON which help track students' reading progress. The audio feature within myON is also amazingly helpful as it allows students to enjoy books outside of their reading level as well.
The only problem was students who did not take the assessment seriously and guessed on the answers so that their progress indicators look strange after they get into it and start taking it seriously, so make sure students are not guessing at the answers.

How I Use It

I use myOn for Independent reading , close reading activities , Research Based Projects , small group instruction, literature circles, to monitor reading levels and growth as well as, extension activities for those students who need it.
