My Take

I love KQED Teach classes as teachers are able to join a cohort or work at their own pace. In both manners, the courses are rock solid with sound sources and strong pedagogy. Every course I have taken has helped my students and my classes through resources, techniques, or activities. I can't say enough good things about KQED Teach. I just with I had more time to take them all.

How I Use It

I love the resources and ideas I get from KQED Teach. For example, lately, I completed one of their Media Literacy courses, "Making Media in the Age of Misinformation," which had great resources for teachers to use to help their students understand the differences between propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation when making their own media. Because of this class, we analyze the Declaration of Independence more clearly and we have built a class code of ethics to use for our own work and to help judge the sources we use in class. KQED Teach is great!
