I hope they add a feature to be able to circle and area on the screen that I want my kids to focus in on (like a disappearing cursor.) This is not a dealbreaker!
How I Use It
I would absolutely scream from the mountain top, if I could!! Kami is an incredible extension. I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! Additionally, I tell other teachers about it ALL DAY...EVERYDAY!!!
I was able to move from using so many different programs to Kami. The kids have the same tools that I have and are experts. I use this across my curricula...labeling a diagram, highlighting text evidence, giving reminder voice, video or screen capture comments, attaching videos for reteaching and review, giving text feedback, monitoring my kids' work in real time (when pushed through a Learning Management System, like Google Classroom), supporting students who need text read to them...and the list goes on and on!!! This is an incredible game changer! I used it when I was in the classroom physically, however it is PHENOMENAL as a tool to use as I teach in a virtual learning academy.
The certification classes are quick and easy to get going! The support on social media sites, like FB, is awesome. There are so many possibilities of how/where this can be used! It will change your life...and save your sanity!!
