Who knew high school kids can get EXCITED about vocabulary and test review?!?
Community Review for Kahoot!
My Take
There are points in all instruction, regardless of grade level or content, in which we as educators need to review material and get a sense if students have mastered standards. This is perfect for this, and is so ridiculously engaging I can't think of a reason you should NOT use it! Your students will thank you!
How I Use It
As an administrator I've seen Kahoot! used in the elementary and secondary classrooms. The reaction is the same- the kids are absolutely WILD about playing it! They cannot get enough. There is 100% engagement. Excitement and laughter fills the air. It's great stuff!
Kahoot! is easy to set up, easy to use, and kids love it. I've seen it used for voacbulary review in the ELA classroom/lesson, as a review of concepts in Chemistry and Algebra 2, and plan to use it during staff meetings with teachers this spring, to see if some of that enthusiasm can be generated in staff meetings as well!
