My Take

Overall, it is a fantastic tool to help students identify the location of places that are being studied. The ability to instantly find a place with a search mechanism makes it useful to show a location instantly when learning about events of the past, locations of significance, or viewing geographical landforms form above. Students love these dynamic maps!

How I Use It

While this product has the potential for so many applications, I have used it primarily to support students during our Michigan Studies to show students the locations of places that we are studying. It is a straightforward tool that allows students and teachers to zoom in closely on a location and then zoom out further to gain a greater perspective on the exact and relative locations of places that are being studied.
