No more "my dog" ate my homework
Community Review for Google Drive
My Take
Google Drive is a great place for at student, especially an unorganized student, to stay organized. Writing assignments, presentations, and spreadsheets can be easily uploaded from most applications or created and saved under a students Google account. A student does not have to worry about losing their homework because if can be accessed from anywhere that there is internet access. Another benefit of Google Drive is that students can share documents with others and a document can be worked on at the same time by multiple students for good collaboration.
How I Use It
One main advantage for teachers is the ability to share documents with students. Class notes, presentations, or assignmenst can be shared with students in class as long as the student has a Google account. Google Drive is also good for collaboration. Students can be put into groups - one person in each group creates a document and shares the document with other group members. Group members can then add to the document or work on the document at the same time. This provides students with the opportunity to add their information, thoughts, and/or ideas especially if the student is quiet or does not have the confidence to share their ideas face-to-face in a group setting.
