My Take
Overall Geometry Pad does provide features in the free version that are sufficient for most classrooms teaching basic level mathematics and geometry, but higher level courses would require the paid version. It does seem that the app has been written to specifically push users to purchase the plus version for $6.99 because of how many features you can choose in the menu that require the upgraded purchase.
How I Use It
Geometry Pad provided students with the ability to graph equations and/or different points on a coordinate plane very quickly and easily. The issues I found with it were that some of the most valuable features available required the purchase of the full app. I felt that the features available in the free version were sufficient for most classrooms teaching basic level mathematics and geometry, but higher level courses would require the paid version.
