My Take

I appreciate this as a teaching tool for relating the visual representation (graph) to the mathematical underpinnings (equation) in a hands-on setting.

How I Use It

Since this program is available free online and students can save graphs to the internet, I've used this in a flipped classroom as a way to create applets with which students can explore the content from video lessons before coming to class. When I tried to use it as a homework assignment in which the students created their own graphs, it was less successful.
