My Take

I really love it to use as a whole group. Without have a subscription and seeing the additional features that this website offers I would not be able to recommend it. However, I really think that the price is good and it could be a great asset to the classroom. I really like adding visual presentations and videos to accommodate my visual learners. In addition, this website and the videos offers a great tool to wrap up a lesson. When you are able to link a video to a lesson to help tie in and fill in the missing pieces, I feel that you are helping out your students in not only comprehension but also making it interesting!

How I Use It

This website can be a paid website that offers a lot more of the bells and whistles! It has a multitude of opportunities for whole group however I do not have a subscription THUS FAR! I have used it as a supplement to my science lessons. Especially when I was working with the solar system and moon phases, the videos are spectacular! When you first go into the website you will see the choice to signup or do a free trial. Below there are FREE VIDEOS!!! The free videos range in information and grade level appropriate videos. Before doing an activity or lesson that could benefit from a video, this is a great place to checkout.

Wonderful!!

Not only is the resource amazing, but the customer service is great too! I accidentally tried accessing it with my personal email and ended up paying for the subscription when I already had it on my work email. The support representative was very kind and helped me sort this out! I wish that there weren't additional aspects of the website that you have to pay even more for after you've already paid for the subscription, but the basic subscription is definitely worth it!

Misleading Information and Inflated Prices

Their "lite" tier of the product is trash and not even worth making a free account, let alone paying money for it's use. You can't do ANY of the things a good teacher would want to do with an activity with their students. To make matters worse, they put pressure on you as the teacher to push your school site administration to purchase a license for the entire school. Why should it be MY job to advertise and solicit for your product? How dare they lock the most useful features behind a paywall that individual teachers can have NO control over whatsoever.

Fun and engaging ways for students to learn!

The large variety of lessons on the website are great for me to see what my students are interested in and for me to do my lesson plans around. I love the usage of hip-hop music since some students would only be able to experience this kind of music at home or on their own. Incorporating it into informative and exciting videos allows students to connect more with what they are learning. The website is also easy to use. I would not recommend relying solely on this website, but it is a great starting point that teachers can create activities or further lessons from.
