Fantastic database of life science resources although not student friendly...
As a source of information, extension and some teachers materials linked to different species/collections, it´s a very useful teaching tool. I like some of the extra resources, but limited only to some species. Podcasts and some lessons can be very handy. For students who like to extend content could be a perfect resource. Also it has the option to change to different languages (17 in total!), perfect for EAL students, but not sure if all the info is available as in english.

This website has complied information about animals, plants, fungi, bacteria, and other living organisms from books, journals, databases. Click on the educational resources link and you will find articles, podcasts, and lessons plans.
I think this is a great resource for students to use while researching a particular living organism as well as a great resource for teachers find ideas for lesson plans and supplemental materials.
