My Take
Overall, I love this app as a screen cast or video tool where students can demonstrate their knowledge of concepts. It has multiple tools including drawing, text, images, audio, and screen cast recording. It also is applicable for multiple learning levels and differentiated instruction. The only downfall is that the initial learning curve is a bit steep, but students are fearless and jump right in.
How I Use It
We have used this app to create videos of math concepts. Students who grasp the concept have created video instruction to demonstrate their learning and scaffold their classmates at the same time. This is also a great app to have students explain a concept and then replay the screen cast to pinpoint errors in thinking or calculation.
