Educreations offers a powerful way for students to share what they have learned.
This tool allows students to work at every level of Bloom's Taxonomy. It is versatile enough to allow them to create their own work, while providing enough of a framework to keep them from absolute chaos. It can be used both for teaching and assessing student knowledge. The ability of students to record their voice is also useful. The final products can also be shared online.
How I Use It
I have used Educreations in math, for students to explain how to do a certain concept, like rounding. They are motivated to make sure their 'lessons' are correct, and I have also used their work to help other struggling students learn the concept. It could also be useful for spelling, since the recording will capture the sequence of letters as they are written, as well as the student's voice.
