Calm is a great choice for "pink noise" with visuals, as background for students working independently or in small groups.

My Take

Students enjoy the forests, beaches, and fields. It's something they request on writing days. I wish it was a little more adjustable (like asoftmumur.com is) in terms of the sound mix, but it's perennially popular with my 8th graders.

How I Use It

Instead of using the guided meditations, I play scenes with music on the AppleTV in my classroom. It provides "pink noise" when small groups are working together, and keeps it from being dead silent when everyone's writing.
