My Take
This site and app is a great tool to use with in the classroom. It is great for an introduction or a wrap up in a lesson and it also serves a great time filler when you need something quick. I love the high level of vocabulary and content. Material is broken down into smaller segments so students are not over loaded. The students loved the "movies" and grew to love and know the characters. The only draw back may be the cost for some individuals.
How I Use It
I used this site daily in my second grade class. The students were always excited to see Brain Pop on the computer. The quizzes and other extension activities were wonderful to keep students engaged beyond the cartoon. Learning was evident. We never had any problems with the site either. Awesome to have as an educator.
