My Take

My students LOVE the fact that they can play against each other in the various games or play against other students in other locations. The competitiveness of many of the games makes it an attractive choice for free time activities.
I love that it allows me to assign activities for extension or reinforcement and the students can challenge themselves at their own level.

How I Use It

I use it for reinforcement and reteaching of various concepts. Students are able to engage at their own pace and in a competitive manner.
Additionally I can assign new concepts or extension concepts for students who are working at a higher level.
It is a bit of a challenge to teach students how to "find" one another to play against each other in a classroom setting but they recall the information quickly and easily once taught.
