Great way to break down history into manageable pieces at the elementary level!!
Community Review for Adobe Express
My Take
One of the best things about using Adobe Spark was that I was the person who ensured that the SOL content was covered correctly, that informational connections were being made, that the length of the presentation was on target, and that the content was appropriate for my students.
And finally...my students were utterly engaged!
How I Use It
At the elementary level, I created the video for my students to view regarding the lesson I was teaching. With some assistance, I can see this as a way for my students to create a product that demonstrates their own understanding of something they've learned.
A few suggestions I would recommend would be to know how you want to tell your story or present your information prior to starting the project. By this, I mean, just have a basic outline like you would create if you were writing a paper. It doesn't have to be detailed, but use it as a road map for where you want to start and where you want to end.
Some suggestions: write your "script" prior to recording! In other words, know what you want to say and how you want to say it for each voice recording, and actually write it out on paper from which you can read it! I had to re-record several slides, several times, because I thought I knew everything I wanted to say and how I wanted to say it, only to leave out something or stumble over my thoughts and completely garble the recording!
