I really enjoy this tool because students are learning while they feel like they are doing something they enjoy. It would be great if some of the games would have a tutorial or hint when a student gets stuck so they can work through the game even if they aren't an avid gamer. It would be awesome if it could recognize the really effective gamers so they could be given an additional level or something to keep them challenged.

It tends to be very data heavy and usually works better at the school building than it does at their homes. I have been using Legends of Learning for over 5 years and each year the site makes improvements and adds new games for more concepts. The games are very intuitive and my students enjoy playing them. It has increased their critical thinking levels because usually they can't progress in the game without understanding the conccepts.

I found that although it is really good at reviewing and reinforcing, there were some questions that were built into the games that were not covered based on the standards and benchmarks my students needed to be taught. Terminology was also different from what my students were accustomed to.

This serves my current population of students well, and I will be using it in the future for deeper understanding and not just surface level questioning.

I really enjoy how engaged my students are when I use LOL. I can see the joy on their faces when playing and I like that I can make sure on my computer screen that they are on the correct web page.

Overall I believe that this application is a very worthy one. This is my second full year using it and I find that my students really enjoy the engaging content that I’m able to narrow down to the topic that I’m teaching. There’s a lot of material so I can simply review with the students via the application. Everything is data driven so I can pull at any time how a student or a class is doing and navigate what I need to teach. This is a great tool to use because it is so easy to understand and apply. The games are fun and the students really enjoy them and look forward to them often upset when I don’t set one up for them. Many of the students have actually gone on and tried to set up a game themselves which obviously they cannot do and then beg me for more because they enjoy the content through the platform. The content is very well aligned with the common core standards and it allows me to go to prior years when I find a gap so I can help each individual student and modify it for their specific learning needs. The staff is also very helpful because if you have a question they will answer you immediately and help you figure out whatever is going on. I’ve had many interactions with them very positive while I was learning to use the platform. They do offer training and assistance end it is a good bang for your buck if you’re in need of a great program to help when you’re differentiating the needs of your students.

I really liked how easy it was to set up playlists for the students, and how the standards aligned with my state's (Florida). As mentioned above, some of the games could be tailored better towards the standards rather than having applicable questions added as an after thought.

This a great way to reinforce and review content in both Science and Math. Lessons are engaging. Students begged to play Legends of Learning whenever they finish work early. I love that science standards are supported through this game. I will continue using Legends of Learning with my 3rd grade class in the future!

I have enjoyed using this platform as a part of my teaching tool kit. With all the gamining students do, this is definately another way to capture engagement opportunities. I like the level of questioning and the simplicity of the gaming. I most defiately like that students are continually reviewing while playing after their assignments.

Just an amazing tool. Love the game review system. It's like a real consumer app. My kids love Awakening and playing the instructional mini games. I've seen substantial improvement in test scores because of how the platform helps teachers engage and instruct kids. Would highly recommend this for 1st-8th graders for math and science.
