Seesaw is an effective tool for all students. Teachers are able to differentiate instruction and facilitate throughout the task. Many students need options in their learning and Seesaw provides these options by the available tools. My students are able to collaborate to complete specific projects and I am able to assign different projects. For example, when working on the topic of digital citizenship, my students are able to use SeeSaw to create a video to create a Public Announcement. They are able to share with other peers or teachers and receive feedback instantly. SeeSaw promotes students' creativeness and engages them to think critically on their projects. SeeSaw allows students to build a digital portfolio that can follow them throughout their school years and add to their portfolio to enhance their learning. I believe SeeSaw can only get better and provide options for all teachers.

I found this app really easy to use and it offered a lot of helpful hints and tips when getting started. Technology can get the best of me and i felt like this app supplied easy directions and minimal set up time. I got to name my class and I could add links, photos, documents, and even activities to do in the app. I think this would be good for homework and extra credit opportunities. I love that the app includes parents which can keep a really good connection between students, parents, and me. You can also use this app in the classroom as a tool for answering questions and doing things individually and working as groups. I am really glad something like this exists in my time.

My students and I love Seesaw! It's extremely easy to use and very effective. This teaching tool allows me to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all my students, and gives students the opportunity to showcase their learning in many different ways. Students are highly engaged when using Seesaw, and it empowers them to take ownership of their learning. My students are building their confidence , communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking skills with this amazing teaching tool. Students love to comment on each other's post. Commenting on each others posts makes them reflect on their own work before submitting it, knowing that their peers will be able to see their work after. Seesaw is free, but there's a fee for upgrading. I will continue to use Seesaw without any hesitation, since it's a great 21st Century teaching tool that brings out the best in every student.

I hope to use this in my classroom. It is a great way for students to collaborate with each other online. They are able to do many functions that can serve as a portfolio or assessment.

I enjoy the visual of the app. It engages students who are so drawn to social media. They were determined to post relevant and accurate answers and responses so their post could receive likes. Which is a great incentive to get them.

Seesaw is an amazing edtech tool! Definitely the most-used one in my classroom this year! Seesaw has allowed my students to complete more hands-on performance tasks to demonstrate their learning, compelled them to explain their thinking, which has given me more insight into what they know or any misconceptions they may have, and has made them more responsible for their learning because they know there is an audience beyond the teacher--their peers and parents. More importantly, using Seesaw has made me a more creative and reflective teacher. I'm constantly considering new ways the app can help me reach my instructional goals. I have shared many of my experiences using the app in my classroom with my faculty and on my blog and have even lead a training for my peers on the basics of Seesaw. One critique I do have is that locating a group of posts from the same assignment is a little difficult. You can filter by folders (that you've set up) and by student name or by date in Calendar Mode, but there are no tags for specific assignments within folders if you wanted to quickly find a group of assignments. I've made a suggestion to add that option or other search feature in future versions of the app.

Seesaw is an awesome learning and communication tool. In fact, it helps the teacher not only assign work to his students, but also send them notifications and instructions to plan for coming sessions and raise their readiness to achieve better learning in class and demonstrate richer knowledge. In addition, this tool enables the teacher to create a class blog where students can interact further, share information, and lead even online discussions for the sake of promoting more learning and mutual support. Furthermore, Seesaw enables the teacher to store his students’ work to be used later in data analysis and lesson planning. Besides, Seesaw makes the teacher’s communication with parents easier and more effective as parents are immediately notified when his or her son contributes on Seesaw. Seesaw offers opportunity to the teacher to control all his students’ comments and contributions by activating the option of “Teacher’s Approval” which encourages students to submit fruitful information. The only concern about Seesaw is the fact that it is a bit complicated for some students either to use the class code or to use the QR.

My overall opinion is that this a resource all teachers should be using. Not only does it allow parents to connect with their child and see what they are doing in school, but it also allows students to reflect and revisit some of their work as well. Parents have commented about awesome it is to be able to see their work and then carry on a conversation at home because they saw exactly what their child was learning or doing that day/week. I love that helps the students to become more independent and also adds a level of responsibility because they are posting their work online for their parents and other students to see. Since we are in a shared device classroom this year, we use the QR code which means that other students can see one another's work, however this doesn't have to be the case if you are 1:1. I cannot wait to continue to use this product with my students and parents in more creative ways this school year and beyond!

It is an excellent teaching tool that provides a digital portfolio to keep record of the work that the students have produced. It allows me to have the students work independently, and gives me a time to help students that are showing misconceptions of the content material they are learning within the class. Students enjoy being able to see their work, as well as their peers' on the app. The only part that I have a with in the app, is that each time the students close the app they have to scan the QR code and then find their name to make sure that they are posting using the correct name.

It is simple to create a profile once you get started, then students do not need to log in with emails. There is a class code to bring them in to the class with ease! The one thing I found a little confusing was when adding media to the feed it didn't go automatically into a students folder, they needed to select their name. It was a little confusing, but if you get into a routine with students it should become second nature. All in all very user friendly and purposeful!
