The bottom line is this program is a positive and fun way to reinforce positive behavior in your school. This is the easiest program we've ever used and it gives us excellent data to see who the students are that need an extra boost of positivity and where in our building we need to place more emphasis. If teachers are hesitant to use a program like this, have them try it out for a few weeks and they'll see how simple it is to run and how motivating it can be for students. We also like how it is a fun program without it being too childish for secondary students. This program has found the nice balance of being not too boring for elementary and also not too cartoonish for secondary. Finally, the people running LiveSchool are always working on way to improve it. They just added some cool new features that make it even easier to correctly enter points, like the ability to mark students absent so, when your whole class gets points, it doesn't add them to students not present. LiveSchool is constantly evolving to always be better!

One of the best features is how students can use their points to purchase rewards. It's such a motivating incentive for them to stay on track and showcase positive behavior. Plus, it fosters a sense of responsibility and ownership over their actions. Parents also benefit greatly from LiveSchool's easy communication tools. It keeps them informed about their child's progress in real-time, promoting transparency and collaboration between home and school. Their team is amazingly responsive when we have questions or concerns and are willing to implement recommendations to make teachers' lives easier!

Overall great platform! Once we got everything set up it was easy to learn and implement in my classroom. It takes second to recognize students and there's even one button to recognize the entire class or grade level instantly. As I mentioned we also use the house system which has created strong school culture across our school and teaches friendly competition to our students. I would highly recommend this platform to any school looking to implement a school wide recognition system. It creates alignment and consistency across your staff and students in a way that is easy to use for everyone!

LiveSchool can be great even if only used by one teacher; it can transform a classroom! When a whole school buys in, the culture can shift in incredible ways. It is important that it is used to highlight the positive and not just the negative. Students who struggle need things to lift them up and not feel like one more punitive thing.

The system is time consuming. When not used with fidelity by all involved, the program will NOT be successful as students WILL quickly lose interest.

It is a great way to have students track there own behavior. The app even allows you to send progress reports home to parents. It is super easy to use and takes little time to set it up. The best benefit is the teacher does not have to stop lecture or the activity to give or take points away. They can just walk up to the white board and hit a few buttons to give/take points. The app even stores points from week to week so the student and teacher does not have to.
