My Take

It is a great way to have students track there own behavior. The app even allows you to send progress reports home to parents. It is super easy to use and takes little time to set it up. The best benefit is the teacher does not have to stop lecture or the activity to give or take points away. They can just walk up to the white board and hit a few buttons to give/take points. The app even stores points from week to week so the student and teacher does not have to.

How I Use It

I had the LiveSchool chart displayed on the whiteboard. The students would come in, tab their name, and go set down. This would take attendance and they would receive a point for being on time. During the class, if a student answer a question or followed the rules, etc. They would receive a point. If a student was misbehaving, they would lose a point. At the end of each week, the students would use their points at a classroom store.
