I love using Quill with my students! It has great progress monitoring and they are always making updates based on teachers' needs. I can't recommend Quill enough!

Highly recommend. I use this to help with tutoring my nephews. Quill is an awesome tool to help with writing, grammar, and spelling. Love it!

Wonderful student-driven assignments that help point out mistakes and make the student correct it. There are pre- and post-assessments to show progress for each student so they can see progress. Plus it is free to use, although there is a premium option.

This is a great tool that I am keen to utilize more in the classroom because it provides easy access for students to identify weaknesses and strengthen them. I think that students who are pro-active learners will see this as a way to speed their progress in their own time.

I'm very pleased with this tool. I've tried lots of other online teaching aids and my ASD kid often gets too frustrated with them to continue, or isn't able to use them independently. He is able to do independent work with this tool which is great. The teacher view is great too, it's very usable- other sites I've used have been hard to work with. I would definitely recommend this for kids with special needs who struggle with writing.

My students love Quill and chill as a warmup. Some have asked if they can do Quill at home because they find it fun! I have used Quill each year for warm-ups, and I really do see improvement in student writing. Not only does Quill help students master grammar and writing skills, but it also forces students to slow down and pay close attention to what they are typing. Quill will count their sentences wrong if students spell a word wrong. It is a great program, but I would enjoy seeing more skills added as they become available.

I have used the free and paid versions of Quill for several years. As a writing teacher, it is definitely the best tool I have ever used to allow students to practice editing and revising. It forces (and not in a bad way) students to analyze their writing which is a difficult task for middle school students. I never want to teach without it!

I know it is helping them with their essays as I can see longer and more complex sentences in their writing since I have added Quill to my daily routine.

It's only been a few weeks, but so far I am pleased. I have watched some of the training videos and I found that the more I used Quill in class, the better I could navigate it. I am trying to only use the free features. This tool has activities and grades them at the end of the experience. Each individual practice activity is five questions long, making the experience less cumbersome for students. Furthermore, if a student submits a wrong answer, the program will provide clarity in directions or remind the student that spelling and punctuation does count! I have some reservation with the product as digital information and limited student privacy. I still need to read about that...
