Kahoot is a great way to review base knowledge of a subject before taking students to higher learning levels.
Kahoot is fun as long as it is not overused. Unfortunately, students eventually realize that when they quickly guess right, they receive points for both the right answer and the quickest response. That is not the purpose. This tool is great as a formative assessment tool so teachers can determine if students know the base knowledge and can move to higher levels of learning.

A great tool for all teachers!
This is a really easy to use tool and really excites the students. It helps gamify the classroom, getting every single student to participate. You can save the results of each Kahoot and even have students rematch themselves using ghost mode!

Very engaging for the students. Able to personalize with specific content information or use what is already out there from other teachers.
Overall, I like using Kahoot as a review tool. The one drawback to this app is that the students tend to loose site of the review part and just get very competitive.

Learning doesn't have to be quiet!
Kahoot is wonderful! Students are 100% engaged at all times during a Kahoot. It is simple to make personal Kahoots or to search the large public library and edit them for your classroom needs.
Video importing could use some work, but it is not an essential element to the program.
Well worth the time to set it up!

Kids Love, Love, Love It!!
Any time kids ask to do a learning activity again, you know you have succeeded. Kids are totally engaged when this is being used in classrooms throughout our building. This beats the heck out of flashcards and old school tools that get approximately 80% engagement. Teachers like it because it is quick and easy to set up.

Great interactive multiple choice game, students clamor for more
I believe that this app is effective at learning surface level questions as well as delving deeper into more comprehensive understanding in a multitude of subjects. The ability to ask questions or upload images as part of the question brings a visual appeal that brings students into the review. I believe that the ability to access this through a multitude of devices adds a universal appeal that many apps cannot match. My students love being able to use their own devices to interact with the reviews and lessons. Having this form of ownership in the learning is a trait that is often underrated. My only critique is that multiple choice is the only viable review option available. Students could benefit from different options to keep the app from becoming stale over time.

Very easy to use and students love it!
My overall opinion of this product is that it is a user friendly product that students and teachers alike have loved in my district. I often times have students that will beg for a change of pace during a class, and I have several fun facts kahoots that are my go-to for a change of pace. This product helps to remind me that sometimes you can do the same activity in a different and fun way and the engagement of your classroom will increase significantly.

Great tool for engaging students in fast paced quizzes where everyone can participate.
I like it. It's fun and engaging and easy to set up and share among collegues. It's not a tool I use every single lesson but I try using it when the students need a (positive) boost in the right direction.
