My Take
Any time kids ask to do a learning activity again, you know you have succeeded. Kids are totally engaged when this is being used in classrooms throughout our building. This beats the heck out of flashcards and old school tools that get approximately 80% engagement. Teachers like it because it is quick and easy to set up.
How I Use It
We use this activity after spending time learning new sets of vocabulary. Kids can use their own device to join the class and play this competitive game. They love the competition portion of this game while all kids are given enough time to get their answers in as well. You can insert images into this to game as well to broaden it's use.

Not very helpfull without pro version
It is a good learning tool, very intuitive and easy to use. On the other hand, they constantly decrease the character limit or functionalities for free users. Overall, the app is not so financially inclusive for lower income students. Have a nice day

Engaging, interactive review
Kahoot! helps student practice fast-paced recall as they race to be the first to answer correctly, giving them points and pushing them higher up on the leaderboard. Kahoot! also forces teachers to manually move on to the next question, giving them a chance to discuss the question and/or take student questions. Additionally, Kahoot!'s leaderboard displays the top 5 players after each question, but does not expose the positions of students lower, and even provides an anonymous player option if teachers wish to use this feature. Kahoot! consistently provides an engaging form of learning and review for students.

Engaging way to review and study!
Kahoot is a brilliant platform for students, especially when reviewing a lesson learned or studying for a test. It essentially is an interactive group study session, where teachers and educators can personalize their own Kahoots to fit into their lesson plans. It's free, easy-to-use, and kids love it! As a middle schooler, we were introduced to Kahoot and I still think it's one of the best ways to review for a test in a fun, stress-free way--giving kids the opportunity to apply what they learned in a competitive game.
