I really enjoy the students playing this math designed game. They absolutely love this website and ask to play throughout the day and at home. The only negative is that the diagnostic seems very long and difficult before the students find their placement and start their lessons. Otherwise, I would recommend this site for all teachers.

I like that the students have to correctly answer math questions to gain points. I LOVE that it gives them hints to find the answer if they are stuck, and gives them the correct answer if they are wrong, so they get immediate feedback. I wouldn't use this as instruction, but it is great as an educational fast finisher, homework, or for practice. It is a real motivator for some reluctant students to get work done and it helps reinforce ideas. It adapts to the students' levels so everyone feels successful and wants to continue playing.

This is not the complete help students need for learning a new skill. However, it is great for practice.

I think Prodigy is a great tool that assesses current knowledge and adapts to address math topics a student may be struggling with.

I believe that sometimes students need fun engaging games to reinforce core standards. I am careful not to over use it and I do not use it in place of my teaching.

I teach 8th graders and most find it very engaging. I love the fact that I can change levels or even go back to certain grade levels for practice that the class, or individuals seem to be missing. (IE fractions or integer work) The data is great and being able to differentiate is such a useful task. The fact that the questions and the tools used to solve problems, look so much like the ones they will see on the state test is a huge benefit. I haven't come across other free digital programs that give me those resources. I can not speak highly enough about this program. My kids love it and I love using it!

I loved that I could differentiate with this product. It was a great way to incorporate all of my students into an activity they could all participate in, but at their own levels. You can also check their skill levels with specific skills, do test prep, or just cycle in review. Great all around resource to help support classroom instruction.

I love Prodigy! The questions are very rigorous and it is also extremely engaging.

My students are motivated to use this program. They literally BEG for it everyday!! From my very beginning mathematicians to my math whizzes...everyone loves to play!! Students have multiple opportunities to practice different standards. The 'plans' can be created by the teacher and can be for the whole class or individualized.

It is an amazing app that engages and lets that child practice math while having fun.
