Highly engaging app for reinforcing math skills
I love it and the kids do too! They were highly engaged the entire time every day. My advanced learners took off with it, but my struggling students found it really challenging at times. Fortunately, you can tailor the skills you want them to practice using the planner tool. This really helped to differentiate for my students that were struggling and to give them successes while reinforcing skills they needed to practice. Prodigy reads the questions to them so they don't have to struggle with the reading portions. Overall, I would highly recommend this. The platform is great and I liked it much better than IXL for my young learners.

Prodigy is an incredible free resource that not only engages students, but assists teachers in planning and assessment!
I can not rate this resource any higher. It has everything a teacher needs. The Champion Club is fantastic and allows access to paid resources through challenges completed by teachers!

Incredibly Engaging Way to Practice Math!
I think Prodigy should be used as a pre-assessment and to practice all math skills. I do wish that the questions were a bit more rigorous and had more state test like questions. It would be nice to see state test questions giving the students more power, or a cool wand, pet, something like that. Other than that, I receive great reports from it and it's definitely my students' favorite.

This program has completely motivated my students to enjoy math and have fun while learning new skills!
This program is very motivating. The kids earn hearts and points after solving problems correctly. They are able to accumulate different outfits, shoes, hats, etc. As the teacher I am able to easily assign specific problems that coordinate with our curriculum and/or provide review and practice.

Great reinforcing activities
It is a great tool as is assesses where the kids are at, and generates a report. I can see which kids have or have not understood a math skill or concept, and can target this within my classroom programme. Some of these kids have been playing it for three years, and are still into the programme.

Students LOVE Playing Prodigy!
Honestly, Prodigy is awesome. I love everything about the program itself. The data that it gives me on the backend is so valuable as a teacher. My students love Prodigy, and it never feels like they are fighting me on doing it. I also really appreciate the staff at Prodigy. Every time I have had a question, comment, or concern, I have been treated with such respect and decorum. I feel as though the staff really cares about my students' learning, as well. They have supported math competitions at my school site, which is really exciting for students. Keep it up, Prodigy! You rock!

My students and I cannot get enough of Prodigy!
I love Prodigy and will continue to use Prodigy in the future. I love that I can individually assign questions to each student at their level. I love that the questions are connected to my state's learning targets. I recommend Prodigy to teachers and parents because Prodigy does a wonderful job of engaging students in math.
